Associate Therapists

  • Tamar Cohen

Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
    (she/her)

Hello and welcome! My name is Tamar (she/her), and I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with over a decade of experience working with children, families, parents, and teens in various settings.

I see youth, teens, and adults, and I have a particular passion for work with emerging adults, focusing on a wide range of issues including identity exploration, self-esteem, navigation of relationship dynamics, anxiety, and professional growth. I love to support my clients in a better understanding of their emotional experiences in the pursuit of greater fulfillment and connection.

I believe that therapy is a true collaboration, and we will work as a team to increase self-reflection in a way that feels authentic to you. I am humbled by the honor of working alongside people with so many different life experiences, and I value empathy, non-judgement, and trust in you as the expert of your own experience. I am deeply invested in the life-long learning that is required to be a therapist that is as anti-racist, anti-ableist, queer-allied, and fat-positive as possible. My deep hope is to provide safe and facilitative therapeutic support that feels accessible and meaningful for you.

Tamar is supervised by Dr. Ybarra.

  • Misha Kellner-Rogers

Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
    (they/them)

As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I see therapy as a collaborative process of inquiry, discovery, and healing. I believe in the power of healing through relationships and honor that healing is not a simple task, but a complex and even messy one. I work with you to co-create a therapeutic environment in which this mess can not just be allowed, but also honored, held, and explored.

I am also a somatically oriented therapist and invite you to bring your whole self -including your body- into therapy. I invite clients to be in control of the pace of therapy in order to facilitate listening to the body and feeling emotions as they arise. This also means locating and externalizing systems of oppression that may be residing within the mind/body.

As a queer person, I understand what it means to live outside of dominant norms and standards and am interested in helping others discover the many ways their own authenticity can be embodied and expressed.

I work with teens, adults, couples, and families and look forward to the opportunity of working with you.

Misha is supervised by Dr. Ybarra.

  • Sasha Stahl

Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker (she/her)

As an Associate Clinical Social Worker, I strive to support people as they navigate life changes and challenges. Doing so alone is not easy, and I strongly believe everyone deserves a safe, containing space to work through what may be weighing heavy on their hearts and minds. I have worked with young children, adolescents, parents, families, and couples. In addition, my work has primarily focused on individuals and families experiencing anxiety, depression, acute stress, relational challenges and trauma. These varied experiences have taught me that a meaningful therapist-client relationship is essential to effective therapeutic work, which I aim to build through a warm, relational style and a touch of humor.

I bring my full and authentic self to therapy, and I hope that you will feel comfortable to do so as well. Beyond the relational piece, I value a space that is co-created, as you are the expert on your own experience, needs, and goals. I will aim to facilitate exploration, growth, curiosity, and self-reflection along the way. Further, as a social worker I am encouraged to hold the systemic and environmental factors that profoundly impact one’s life and circumstances. To that end, I am engaged in ongoing learning/unlearning and listening in order to show up as an anti-racist, culturally humble provider. I look forward to hearing from you if it sounds like we may be a good fit!
